Therefore 21 members of the professional association decided to set up a limited liability company called "Legal Recovery". The objective of this company is to carry out, optimise and develop debt recovery and related activities in the broadest sense, in accordance with the legal and regulatory provisions in force, and in particular those applicable to bailiffs.

A unique concept in Belgium

Legal Recovery is thus an open structure that is constantly evolving. It is unique in Belgium and was born from the desire of 20 independent Belgian bailiffs' offices to come together and combine their strengths and ideas in order to offer you the best service, wherever you are in Belgium and whether you are a private person, a commercial company or a public institution.

Security and stability are the strengths of Legal Recovery's structure

Legal Recovery currently represents 66 bailiffs, 36 bailiff candidates and around 230 specialised staff. Legal Recovery has opted for the legal structure of a SCRL and this is a sensible choice for the 21 shareholders who have an equal stake. The SCRL has significant share capital and the financial support of the 20 offices that currently comprise it. In addition, it also enjoys the support of several major Belgian banks which demonstrates a solid financial base.
